Shannon Ralston is the Founder, President and CEO of Angel Staffing, Inc. with the responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the business from marketing to government contract obligations.
Shannon began her college career at the University of Akron on an Army ROTC scholarship and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a minor in Military Science and History at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.
 
Prior to starting Angel Staffing, Shannon worked in healthcare as a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplants. In her current role, Shannon leads a team of 22 corporate staff and 1500 field employee all working in the healthcare field with the majority working within private, state and federal inpatient healthcare facilities in and around the South Texas Region area and throughout the nation.
 
Angel Staffing has staffing contracts in 4 other states and is heavily involved in Texas Disaster Response and more recently in International Disaster Response. Shannon began Angel Staffing 7 years ago in the pursuit of a better life for herself and her young son, Dakota. She also envisioned her business as an avenue for accomplished nurses and medical professionals to earn what they are worth with the benefits they deserve for themselves and their families. Angel Staffing has been awarded numerous awards and accolades throughout the years. Some of the more notable are The United Way Corporate Volunteer of the Year for Bexar County in 2006 for their work during hurricane Katrina.
 
In 2007 Angel Staffing was honored as ‘Contractor of the Year’ for Lackland Air Force Base. More recently being rated #165 of the top 500 fastest growing privately owned business in the nation by Inc. Magazine for 2008 and then again being ranked #559 for fiscal year 2009. Shannon has been featured in San Antonio’s NSIDE Magazine in March of 2008 and November 2009. Staffing Industry Analysts Magazine did a case study on Angel Staffing’s phenomenal growth in a down economy in August of 2010.
 
Angel Staffing prides itself on community service and humanitarian efforts and has a long list of accomplishments in this area. Angel Staffing’s current efforts are in Haiti where Angel MD’s, Nurses and Paramedics are volunteering their time at a Hospital ER, a large orphanage and a comprehensive vaccination program covering Section 6 of Port au Prince including 31 tent cities in conjunction with Project Hope. All of this work is accomplished through her foundation “Angel Charitable Foundation” and personal donations by Shannon.
 
Angel Staffing’s primary focus is always the medical professionals of San Antonio and those all around the State of Texas that care for our friends and neighbors in need whether at a vaccination clinic, hospital or in a disaster zone.
